New Work Clothes

How much do I love this outfit..? So much that I would wear it every day if I could.

Took a little shopping trip, I found the below. New shoes at the bargain price of £19.99. They’re actually so comfortable, which is unusual. I lasted all day at work and then another little shopping trip. I will be getting them in the other colours available but I like the red to spice up my work clothes.

The blouse is from H&M and it is perfect for the weather as we seem to be getting a little summer coming along. It is a chiffon material but the pockets are doubled over so it isn’t too see-through. It is quite loose fitting which makes it quite cool and airy, plus I always wear skinny trousers so its nice to wear something looser on top.

Trousers are my usual ones from H&M.

Lots of love

Bargain Playsuit

Hiya,

Hope you all had a good weekend. I went shopping this weekend and got this little bargain from topshop. It was in the sale for less than half price. I bought it for something a little more interesting to wear to work. It’s from the brand ‘Oh My Love’ Comfy to wear to so great if you need to toilet.

Enjoy

Polka Dot Dress

Another work dress, and yep you got it, more polka dots. Didn’t realise I had a thing for polka dots until I started this blog. Another bargain dress, I found this dress in one the random shops that you get, although I’m sure you can get it in a lot of places now.

This dress is another one that nips in at the waist, kinda comes out slightly, has a little structure to it. The polka dots are a velvet texture which although you don’t get to experience is fun for me. I love the black and white, no mater what pattern it is, as long as it’s monochrome it will always be timeless. Well that is my opinion anyway.

Enjoy

Work Dress

Hello Beautifuls,

Thought  I would share this dress with you, a little different from my usual work wear. This dress was one I spotted in the sale at New Look that I happened to walk past with only 1 in my size… some would say fate. The only downside to this dress is it makes me feel older than I am but I think that’s because it’s more grown up than my usual clothes. I like the floral print and the yellow on black makes it stand out. The yellow is actually really bright. It nips in at the waist which is a winner for me as I have a small waist.

The tailoring on this dress for high street is actually a very good quality. Surprising I know. OK I have split the back of the dress slightly but that’s because I tried to hold open 2 doors at the same time, one with my hand, one with my leg. So that’s my own fault. Might work better though for me to just adjust the stitching slightly and have a slightly longer split.

Anyway back to the point, budget tailoring can be done, and I am starting to stretch out of Zara slightly.

Summer Work Clothes

I’m such a summer girl, I hate wearing loads of layers, hate tights and leggings. I love having my legs out. Helps that’s they’re brown though. Since it’s been a bit warmer lately, I’ve got the summer wardrobe edging back out. This is my favourite one. Top – tesco Skirt – H&M basics. The skirt is a stretchy material so I can still walk like a normal person and not have to take tiny steps.

average day at work.

Hiya, just another average work outfit I thought I’d share with you. Another printed top from Tesco (they’re so good for workwear if you’re not so keen on the classic blouse or prefer more colour) skirt from Zara, makes me feel really girly, the elastic waistband shows a bit of shape and pulls the top in, and I have printed tights on. I’m not a massive fan of tights so like ones with detail on them to spice it up (I realise you can’t see it from this picture) I originally planned to wear the high shoes that are in the photo but went against that decision due to the left over snow/ice. Hope you like.

Floral Blouse

Before I start, excuse the state of my face and hair! Thought I would share this outfit with you in the spirit of Spring which seems further away than ever now! Who doesn’t love a floral for SS. This blouse was from tesco absolute bargain for something along the lines of £8. Paired with my favourite Zara trousers (if you thought I was exaggerating before about them being my favourite, I’m sure you’re realising I wasn’t) and the cute blazer from Primark. Ta da effortless workwear for a Tuesday. Cmon Friday!

Masculine Workwear

This work outfit is my favourite, my favourite trousers from Zara, a not so fitted shirt also from Zara and a boyish blazer. The skinny trousers still give me a girly feel. It looks better with heels but I can’t always be bothered to wear them and today was one of those days. I do love the masculine look for work, always works so well. And the shirt is a thick material that’s really comfortable.

P.S I know I look like a lollipop it one of the full length photos, it’s the angle (I hope)
