Floral Shorts

Here are my amazing new floral shorts from Zara. Absolutely in love with these. I love them even more so cos I originally thought they would be the shorts that show my bum a little bit. Then I tried them on and they didn’t. It was like Christmas had come early. I get very excited by good clothes. I love the colours and the fit of these. The peach and yellow in the shorts make them perfect for summer, but the fact the base is navy, makes them good for Winter too. I’m set really. You should be jealous of these ones, the material and make of the shorts are really good quality too. Not much of a surprise though Zara’s stuff usually is.

Anyway, this is an outfit I wore out on Sunday night, hence the heels, I dont wear them just to walk around in, way too much effort for my liking.

Hope you like.

Lots of love

Pink & Orange

If you read my post of my Beach Dress, you would have  seen how I said the colour clash of pink and orange is growing on me. The colours in the dress inspired me for these nails.
The pink on the underneath is ‘415 Instyle Coral – Rimmel – 6o Seconds’
The orange is ’17 Sunset Orange – George (Asda)’

The block colours across my nails was done with masking tape, I find it doesn’t pull of your nail varnish and gives the best clean-cut line.

The stripe down the middle was done by painting masking tape, cutting the strips and sticking them on, not ideal if you’re looking for a long-term thing. However If you want to try out nail patterns and see how they look this is a good way to go, much easier than trying to do it straight on your nail. Another bonus is you could change it every day, providing your base colour isn’t chipped.

Enjoy these, I know I do.

Chelsea

Beach Dress – Hurry up Summer

Hiya,

Just wanted to show you my beach dress as I’ve been talking about my holiday all day and I’m getting excited to wear it, I have a few bikinis to match it :).  I’m growing more and more in love with this colour combo everyday, usually I’m not big on clashing colours but these ones are really winning me over. You’ll shortly see my new nail patterns inspired by this dress. This dress was a nice little bargain from Asda George. I’m looking forward to having an even better tan than I do with this, it will bring out the colours even more.

Floral Cami

This is my new bargain floral cami top from H&M, adjustable straps (always handy), pretty pattern, light, perfect fit.

Thought I would show it to you with 2 outfits that I have worn, one was my dress down Friday outfit and the other just before it didn’t match, but it kinda did, I know that makes no sense. The colours are really lovely, looks really cute with a peach colour nail varnish. They have this top in loads of different colours, I think it was something like £7.99, who doesn’t want a top for £7.99 thats bang on trend? It looks nicer with my creepy sandal shoes, but I’m still trying to work myself out of my obsession with my Blazer’s. Anyway, hope you like.

Enjoy

Maxi Skirt

Before I even tell you about this outfit I love that it looks like my head is way too heavy to hold up haha. Not sure what happened here.

Anyway back to the subject in hand I’ve been after a maxi skirt for ages, I really like maxi dresses but I feel like the swamp me because I’m so small. I found this maxi skirt from primark 😉 Makes me feel really girly, starting off ith just a white top and a red belt for a bit of colour. Eventually I will get more adventurous with this.

Block Your Green

I know matching things can be really tacky but I absolutely love that I have found a matching nail varnish for my trainers. You should have seen the ridiculous grin on my face. I originally set out to get a yellow to pair with my lilac/lavender InStyle Nails Inc Freebie. But I was in Tesco and I went to the Rimmel section as I always do and I spotted this.  Held it up to my trainers, perfect match. Was so excited, thought I would show you the match up against my trainers so you know I’m not lying. The colour is called Block Your Green from Rimmels 60 second range.

It’ll also be brilliant to bring back at Christmas time because it’s like a tree green colour.

A Stroke of Red

I found this little red beauty in the back of my cupboard in a bag because I was going to return it and never got round to it… can you believe it, I was going to return it. I shake my head in disappointment at myself. Just look at the cute little bows on the back.

I wore this today with my creepy sandal shoes and just a pair of jeans. Just thought I would share, since this is what this is for.

Hope you had an amazing day.

Nike Blazers… again

After expressing my love for my Nike Blazers thought I would show you them on with my sort of matching cardigan. They’re getting more comfortable the more I wear them. The last post just showed you them in the box, thought it would be a good idea to show you them on for anyone that it thinking of buying them.  I always wear them with skinny jeans at the moment so I don’t feel so boyish. When the weather perks up they will happily be worn with shorts.

Enjoy

Urban Pink

If you see my military gilet post you’ll know how excited I was about it. Well here it is in action. Paired with something that is on trend because as I said before this is one of those timely pieces that isn’t in any trend currently but will be treasured and worn as if it is. I’ve teamed it with my Pink Jeans from Zara and my Creepy Sandals shoes from Office. I thought it looks quite cool personally. The pink jeans girly-ed the gilet up a bit, and the gilet de-girly-ed the pink jeans. perfect match for me as we all know I’m not into the whole girly look. Just a plain white top worn too, as the pink jeans and khaki has its own effect. Nothing else needed to be going on here.

Hope you like
